For passengers traveling on more than one flight on any day, there are minimum connection times that should be allowed for when booking flights. These connection times are based on the experience of our airport staff to ensure customers have enough time to move within and between terminals and check-in again where required.

When traveling to Cayman Brac or Little Cayman via the Twin Otter Service allow for a minimum of 60 minutes to connect and check-in; Baggage allowance is 55 lbs per person and only one 15 lb carry-on, any excess will be charged $.50 US per pound.

For international connections please allow 120 minutes minimum between flights.

You will have to retrieve your luggage between flights if you are arriving at your first port of entry into the United States or Cayman. Claim your luggage and clear Customs. You can then recheck your luggage to your final destination. Check-in is required for connecting flights. Simply present the proper identification and flight coupon if using paper tickets for the next flight segment.

On occasion, delayed flights can result in our customers missing their connecting flights. If this should happen, a Cayman Airways customer service agent can help re-accommodate you on another flight.
