Launched in 2008, the Miles Ahead programme benefits only those charities , non-profit groups/organisations, churches, and schools that are registered in the Cayman Islands.

The programme encourages Cayman Airways Frequent Flyer members to support local non-profit groups/ organisations and causes by donating their accumulated air miles to participating entities of their choice. These entities can in turn redeem the air miles for airline tickets for:

• Fundraising raffles and auctions
• To cover the cost of air travel for visiting guest speakers, counselors, or trainers
• To send persons overseas for training, competitions, or other developmental events/activities

To serve as a supplement and/or alternative when the airline is not able to donate free tickets to local non-profit groups as requested.

To help Frequent Flyer members utilize their accumulated air miles more regularly by donating them to participating non-profit entities of their choice.

1. Submit a copy of the legal registration documents for the non-profit charity/church/school to sirturtle@caymanairways.net.

2. Once approved, a special Frequent Flyer account number will be assigned to the approved participant, and a Miles Ahead Guidelines and Promotions Kit will be issued for use in soliciting air-mile-donations from members of the community who are Cayman Airways Frequent Flyer members.

3. All participating groups must sign a “Terms of Agreement” contract with CAL upon approval.

4. Approval Timeline: within 24 hours once all documentation has been submitted and approved.

5. Air miles can be redeemed for tickets usually within two days by contacting Jackie Whittaker

Cayman Airways Frequent Flyer members wishing to donate their air miles can do so by simply logging on to http://frequentflyer.caymanairways.com/frequent_flyer/miles_donation_form.php and completing the Miles Donation Form in the Frequent Flyer section, or call Jackie Whittaker on 743-8279. Air miles are credited to the chosen account within 24 hours.
