Cayman Airways Announces Changes to Checked Bag Policy
Highlights of changes to Checked Bag Policy:
- Charges for excess checked bags weighing no more than 55 pounds and no larger than 62 inches in total dimensions will increase:
- More than 2 bags, but less than 6, charges will increase to USD 100 per piece
- More than 5 bags, no more than 8, charges will increase to USD 200 per piece
- Overweight fees will also increase for bags weighing between 56 and 70 pounds to USD 50 per piece, if less than 62 inches in total dimensions and within the free baggage allowance
These changes will become effective for travel on or after December 15, 2008.
Cayman Airways will continue to allow all Economy class passengers to check up to 2 bags (subject to size and weight limitations) free of charge.
